Veteran Mortgage Brokers is outstanding!Here's why:I had a unique situation as a new 1099 employee after retiring from the military this year. This made it extremely difficult to get a home loan at a reasonable rate despite having excellent credit and a decent income. I initially went to four different mortgage brokers I had found on my own. One of them didn't know the ins and outs of 1099 vs W2 and how the points system worked. Two other mortgage brokers gave me the run around, and said it was not possible to get me anything unless I switched to being a W2.
